Hotel placement in 30 minutes or less, with no minimum stay

No family should have to worry about where to spend the night following the loss of their home. At PRIMUS, we will arrange for a displaced family to stay at a nearby hotel within 30 minutes of their initial call. Long-term housing options will be available within 48 hours.

The essentials

A roof over your head is a necessity, but at PRIMUS, we also make it a priority to arrange a comfortable stay for displaced families. If your policyholder has lost everything, his or her family will need housewares, kitchen utensils, linens, furniture and other essentials. We will provide options that match the quality to which your policyholders are accustomed.

Assistance with special needs requests

We understand that every family has a different situation that requires a unique solution. If your policyholder has a family member with special needs, we will find the right housing solution to make his or her stay as comfortable as possible. Accessibility is key, and we will work to create a seamless transition for every member of every family.

Pet friendly placement requests

We understand that pets are family, too, and we will exhaust all options to make sure pets are not left behind. Pet-friendly accommodations are available – just tell us what is needed.

Hotel Solutions

After experiencing the loss of a home, a family’s first need may be finding emergency housing for the night. Primus will arrange for the entire family – pets included – to be housed at a nearby hotel or motel within 30 minutes of their initial call, with no minimum stay required.


Housing Solutions

Nobody thinks about the items they use on a daily basis until they’re taken away. If your policyholder has lost everything and the family’s home requires major repairs, we will work to relocate the family into a temporary home similar in size, location and quality, complete with the things they need: towels, linens, even a coffee maker. We’ll also provide the equipment, furnishings and additional accessories – such as wheelchair ramps or fencing for pets – necessary to keep family members comfortable until their house is rebuilt.

Once family members are settled into their temporary home, we will provide instructions on how to care for the facilities, including directions detailing how to leave the home once their stay is over. This information will be mailed and emailed to policyholders to ensure clarity on how to care for their temporary home during and after their stay.
